Engineered Performance is Ballarat’s premier custom automotive engineering firm. We design and implement custom solutions for your unique requirements from first principles. As a certified VASS signatory, EP is held to the highest engineering standards, and we guarantee every aspect of our work.

 

EP handles a wide variety of custom auto modifications. Everything from simple body mods and bolt-on kits to one-off enthusiast powertrain components and complete custom vehicles is within our wheelhouse – you imagine it, we make it happen.

Vehicles

We design, install, and provide certification for the following types of modified vehicle:

 

  • Light Vehicles (<4.5 tonne GVM)
  • Heavy Vehicles (>4.5 tonne GVM)*
  • Light & Heavy trailers
  • Individually Constructed Vehicles (ICVs)
  • Compliance of Imports built before 1989
  • Compliance of Personally Imported vehicles
  • VASS certificates for motor home conversions
  • VASS certificates for Club Permit vehicles

 

Note: Most vehicle modifications are certified using the Vehicle Assessment Signatory Scheme (VASS), which is exclusive to Victoria. Heavy vehicles are certified using the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) certificate and are accepted by all states/territories, not limited to Victoria.
